The Payroll Clerk will work directly with employees and supervisors to ensure payroll records are timely and accurate.
The Payroll Clerk has the following
Responsibilities:
Collects timesheet data and payroll information and review for accuracy Performs data entry of employee's pay, deductions and benefit information Prepares and balances bi-weekly and monthly payrolls and benefit reports Assists with preparation of state and federal payroll reports and forms Maintains payroll files Responds to payroll-related inquiries and resolves concerns Reconciles payroll data and initiates ACH file upload to banking institution Performs other duties as assigned from time to time The Payroll Clerk must have the following
Qualifications:
Must have at least 2 years of payroll experience Knowledge of payroll practices and general accounting procedures Experience working with accounting and payroll systems Excellent attention to detail Exceptional mathematical and calculation skills Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information Able to work effectively with minimal supervision Physically able to work seated in front of a computer for extended time The salary range of this position is $17.
00 to $19.
00 per hour depending on experience.
