Marketing:
develop and maintain marketing strategies to continue to create awareness and grow the brand.
Maintain a presence on Facebook/Instagram for the location's home Distribute marketing materials and implement marketing campaigns Create and distribute a digital newsletter and traditional mailings as described in the Newsletter & Mailer Annual Guide Fundraising:
successfully fundraise your home's yearly budget ($131,000/year) including at least $3,000/month in scheduled monthly support.
Encourage donors to partner as monthly givers Design and implement at least 2 large fundraising events/year to raise a total $35,000.
(A luncheon will be held as one of the large fundraisers every other year) Send thank you notes Work with home office and grant writers to secure grant money Call to personally thank donors of $1,000 or more Continue to visit and update supporting churches and civic organizations Volunteers:
organize, train, and schedule volunteer staff.
Recruit, coordinate, and train volunteers including:
trauma informed care, cultural awareness, general house rules and training, finger printing and background checks Record and maintain records regarding volunteer schedules, hours, recertification and duties and send report to Regional Coordinator monthly Engage volunteers in the work and support of the house and guests.
Coordinate cleaning, lawn care, grocery shopping, and general upkeep for the home Coordinate donations of clothing, supplies, etc.
and redistribute surplus to other organizations Partner with other non-profits to provide for the needs of children entering foster care, caseworkers, and foster parents Children served:
maintain records of all children who enter and services provided.
Compile and maintain records for children who enter Isaiah 117 House Compile and maintain records on services and resources used per guest (i.
e.
clothes, hygiene items, linens, toiletries, etc.
) Track children, caseworkers and foster parents who are served but do not come to the house Track resources provided for foster families Send a monthly report of all above information to the Regional Coordinator Provide lunch for the area DCS office 3-4 times/year Coordinate with area DCS office and staff Administrative:
including all other business/management functions and record keeping.
Gift card tracking American Express app/uploading receipts Using tax exempt status whenever applicable Time tracking and time off requests in ADP Ordering, tracking/inventorying and selling of T-shirts Coordinate with local treasurer about regular/timely deposits and record keeping of donations and merchandise sales Meet regularly with the location's local advisory team Job Type:
