The Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance is seeking individuals interested in a paid employment opportunity for the Tennessee Early Childhood Apprenticeship Program.
We are currently seeking apprentices to fulfill our program areas in Jonesborough, TN.
TECTA will also pay for college course credit in Early Childhood degree programs including, but not limited to, Child Development Associate (CDA), Associate's of Science and/or Teaching, and Bachelor's Degree.
Duties:
- On the job training - Day to day expectations of the program director and mentor teacher at the assigned licensed child care center - Day to day expectations of the Tennessee Early Childhood Apprenticeship Program Skills:
- No experience required.
Apprentices will be mentored by an assigned, high-quality, DHS licensed child care center director and classroom teacher.
Only applicants that are able to commit to a 3-year program and possess the desire to pursue a career in the early childhood education field will be considered.
Requirements:
-Apprentices must be at least 18 years of age.
-Apprentices must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
-Apprentices must adhere to TN child care licensing requirements.
The Tennessee Early Childhood Apprenticeship Program will provide academic support, as well as professional learning opportunitites to enhance your skills as an early childhood educator! Job Type:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
